I was walking at a speed equivalent to standing still,
With nothing else down the line.
I noticed things I never would on a bike.
There's no treasure that's better than time.
My camera roll was filled up with the flowers by the roadside.
You guys around me must be sick of them.
I feel so sorry about that but at the same time,
I'm hoping you can let it slide.
Now I think I know a little bit more about you,
Why you walk with longer steps, in a rush to get through.
My kind of living would get boring pretty soon,

Reading books, listening to masterpieces.

Today, I walked down a street I don't usually go down.
A dusty yellow Rolls Royce caught my eye,
And I recalled a song that I used to like.
I thought it's time to get a license to drive.
Walking on, I thought we haven't done any wrong.
There really was no other choice for us.
We did well, even though we were scared and fazed,
To get back to our usual ways.
The woods are gently thinning out, and the skies will appear.
Not in a snap, the change is subtle so you can't see or hear.
When we get out, the days are gonna be so fun.
It should be so, at least that's my hunch.
